All I can think is WOW, as I reflect back on a recent experience that I know God hand selected just for me and granted His divine favor. They chose me,

… the little girl born and raised on a small Caribbean island with big dreams

… the little girl who’s parents are from small villages in Nevis and only had a high school diploma from their country

… the little girl who’s parents grew up in tiny wooden houses with outdoor bathrooms (outhouse) and became naturalized U.S. Citizens, who in turn brought their siblings to the U.S.

… the little girl who saw her father take his last breaths at 10 years old early one Saturday morning

… the little girl who’s mom worked 2 jobs to support her children after becoming a widow and paid her mortgage off in full

… the little girl who slid down the hill and tore her little stockings every Sunday morning walking to Sunday school with her big brother

… the little girl who was raised by a village and loved by Mama and Duggie (Baby sitter, Duggins Family) and listened to all the old gospel hymns that she still enjoys today

… the little girl who’s mom was and still is the matriarch of her family and a savvy successful business woman

… the little girl who had a dream to attend college at 17 years old far, far away in Maryland

… the little girl who was the first in her family to earn both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree

… the little girl who became a single parent and now a proud grandma to her precious grandson

… the little girl who encouraged members of her family to accept Jesus Christ

… the little girl who struggled with doubts, low self esteem, and many obstacles to overcome, but is still not ashamed to call on the name of JESUS

… the little girl who bought her first house away from home and already has plans on purchasing another one in a new zip code

… the little brown skin Caribbean girl now representing and inspiring other little girls to NEVER GIVE UP & FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH

… the little girl who knows that there are even greater things in-store for her because her Abba Father said, “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” Yes, I love God and his goodness and mercy follow me daily.

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;”
