God never promised us this life would be easy, but He does promise this: He is bigger than any storm we face in this world. And He’s always working for our good, even in the places where we can’t see, even in the circumstances that we don’t fully understand. He is with us, right in the midst of all we walk through.
Peace is valuable. So much so that the world will go to extremes to acquire it. There is only one way to enjoy true peace—Jesus—the Prince of Peace. Through His peace, you can live free of anxiety, depression, fear, poverty, lack and sickness. You can live in contentment, joy, security, rest and wholeness. In fact, Jesus died to give it to you. He said, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives” (John 14:27, NKJV).
There is power in speaking God’s Words. It alone holds the ability to soothe your soul, to refresh your spirit, and cause hope to rise above the pain you might be feeling. And though your circumstances may not be immediately changed, though your heart may still be hurting, you’re reminded through His Word to set our eyes on Him. And that’s the best place for them to be!
